An art installation by Jaxton Su, Community Arts Resident at the Singapore Botanic Gardens, Planting Memory Cubes was co-created with the Singapore Botanic Gardens community. From the passionate horticulturists who tend to the gardens, to families who gather for picnics, and to visitors seeking solace amidst nature’s beauty - a vibrant tapestry of memories weave their way through the botanical treasure trove that is the Gardens. This installation reimagines memories as pixel cubes that can be planted and preserved. Viewers are invited to unearth the diverse personal anecdotes, cherished moments, and experiences tied to specific spaces within the Singapore Botanic Gardens.
